Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, released the morning run race with the elite national army soldiers, Kopassus, and residents, Saturday (10/29) morning. The competition at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Senayan, Central Jakarta is attended by around 1,500 participants.

Kopassus General Commander Maj. Gen. Iwan Setiawan thanked the Jakarta Acting Governor for being willing to attend and take the time amid his busy schedule.
He explained that today's activity was attended by around 1,500 participants. They came from elements of Kopassus soldiers, Marines, and civil society.
"Hopefully, it can entertain and create a close relationship between Kopassus and all residents of the capital," he hoped.
He asserted it was a form of Kopassus' love for the people, providing a happy atmosphere of joy in the community.
As for the information, the event is colored with martial arts attractions from the Merpati Putih Silat College, Zumba gymnastics, and fun games. There is also an exhibition of Kopassus Alutsista to the performance of Kopassus soldiers.
